Joy Lorraine Cosmetics was founded in 1988 by a professionally trained esthetician and makeup artist who was born on the island of Trinidad, West Indies. The company specializes in offering a quality line of skin care and makeup products to enhance the beauty of women everywhere.

The company’s founder, Joy Lorraine began her training when she took extensive classes in Esthetics and Makeup at Christine Valmy International Beauty School. After being in corporate America for several years with jobs ranging from Administrative to Executive Secretary, Joy Lorraine’s venture into the cosmetic industry began when she did freelance work for cosmetic giant Germaine Monteil. Joy Lorraine continued to develop her skills through photography makeovers for models, musicians, politicians as well as bridal makeovers for one of the most important days in a woman’s life.

Joy Lorraine Cosmetics continued by distributing its skin care and makeup products through conventions such as The Black Expo, The Congressional Black Caucus, Baptist Conventions and several Links Exhibitions. Today, the company’s team of Makeup Artists distributes its quality line of skin care and makeup products in a major New York mall.
