Help With Liquid Eyeliner
Have you ever tried to apply liquid eyeliner? The first few times may be enough for you to give it up for life and resort back to pencil eyeliner. The expertly defined eyes you see on TV and your friends who swear by liquid eyeliner can make you envious and make you think back to your feeble attempts of applying liquid eyeliner. The smudges and off lines you created on your attempts make you believe that liquid eyeliner just isn’t in the cards for you. However, liquid eyeliner doesn’t need to be the nightmare you have experienced, and with just a little practice you can be a pro just like the stars and your friends. Read Below...

Let’s face it! Eyeliner makes the eyes pop. However, if done incorrectly it can close your eyes by making them look smaller, or just simply make you look like a clown or worse yet, even a raccoon. The most typical way a person applies liquid eyeliner is by lining the eye from the inside of the lashes outward in one sweeping motion. Another way is by starting in the middle of the eye, working towards the outer most part of the eye and finishing by going from the mid point to the inner point with the liner. The last way is to take the tip of the liquid eyeliner and apply small dots in between the base of your upper lashes. This will not appear as a line, but rather it will make your eyelashes appear thicker and fuller.
The benefit of liquid eyeliner versus pencil eyeliner is the ease in which the liquid eyeliner goes on. An important factor in liquid eyeliner is the consistency. If it is too thin it smears and runs; if too thick it clumps. Pencil eyeliners can sometimes dry out causing them to drag on your eye lid.
Joy Lorraine Cosmetics have the perfect consistency with just the right amount dry time to achieve the perfect line every time.
