Red is a timeless symbol of elegance, and will be the color on most women’s lips this holiday season. One cannot deny that color plays a part in how we feel, and adding color will enhance your celebration of the New Year with an immediate made-up look. Imagine wearing that red lipstick and liner to jazz up that gorgeous black outfit. With confidence and a little know-how, anyone can wear red lipstick. By understanding how to experiment with lip colors, a minor change can add a whole new look to your wardrobe.

If you’re wearing anything red for the New Year, staying in the same color family will keep you from making the wrong color choice. An astute lipstick wearer would have more than one lipstick color and texture in their makeup bag. It would be a good idea to keep a lipstick and lip liner in your car, desk and handbag so it’s always within your reach.
